Jorandi is a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and founding Partner of Daneel Williams LLP.
With more than 18 years’ experience working in intellectual property, Jorandi advises clients on the full spectrum of trade mark law and practice in the UK, throughout the EU and abroad. She handles all aspects of non-contentious trade mark matters, such as pre-filing and strategy advice, trade mark clearance, filing and prosecution, as well as contentious trade mark matters, including oppositions, invalidity and revocation actions, and advising on trade mark infringement matters. In addition, Jorandi advises on Registered Designs and Copyright issues.
She is particularly successful in handling large-scale opposition and cancellations actions before the UKIPO, as well as managing global IP portfolios.
After qualifying as a Solicitor in South Africa, Jorandi relocated to the UK and retrained as a UK Trade Mark Attorney with one of the largest international Intellectual Property firms. Before founding Daneel Williams LLP, she was UK Head of Trade Marks of a pan-European firm.
She works closely with clients to understand their individual business, as well as the wider industry. This, together with her extensive knowledge and experience in the field and varied background, enables her to offer clients strategic and commercially focussed advice according to their business needs.

Heather is a UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and founding Partner of Daneel Williams LLP.
With significant experience in the trade mark profession, having worked with a vast range of clients across all sectors, Heather advises on the full spectrum of trade mark law and practice, specialising in trade mark and design portfolio management in the UK and worldwide. Heather also advises on related intellectual property rights, including designs and copyright.
Heather has extensive experience in brand protection, from initial clearance searching and registrability advice through to devising strategic filing strategies and managing worldwide filing programs.
With a particular expertise in handling contentious cases, including trade mark oppositions, cancellation actions, company name complaints and domain name disputes, Heather also has an excellent track record in resolving disputes and negotiating commercial agreements for her clients.
Heather frequently advises on infringement and passing off and has assisted clients in developing their own in-house brand protection policies, including how to tackle online enforcement of intellectual property rights in online marketplaces and social media.
